Emergency Department –Staffed 24 hours a day by physicians and nurses. Telemedicine specialists are available for stroke, neonatal and pediatric care. InstyMeds, a 24-hour medication dispensing machine, is available for prescriptions.

Gundersen Moundview Hospital and Clinics is located at 402 W. Lake Street in Friendship and offers a comprehensive variety of services including:



Urgent Care – ​Available in the hospital’s emergency department Monday-Friday, 5 to 9 p.m.; Weekends, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Expanded hours (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) offered on holiday weekdays. InstyMeds, a 24-hour medication dispensing machine, is available for prescriptions.

Friendship Clinic –Comprehensive family medical care including annual exams, wellness visits, preventive care and chronic disease management. On-site laboratory and radiology services available. Located within the hospital. Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Westfield Clinic – Comprehensive family medical care including annual exams, wellness visits, preventive care and chronic disease management. On-site laboratory and radiology services available. Located at 207 N. Pioneer Park Road in Westfield. Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Aspirus Riverview Clinic is located at 419 North Oak Street in Adams. The clinic employs a full time family medicine provider, and also offers lab and imaging services. Appointments can be made at the Aspirus Clinic in Adams by calling (608) 339-5250.

EDUCATION

Adams Friendship School District - The Adams-Friendship Area School District educates approximately 1600 students living across 500 square miles within Adams County. The district includes three elementary schools (grades PK-5), one middle school (grades 6-8), and one high school (grades 9-12). The district prides itself on a comprehensive and diverse curriculum and strong co-curricular programs in athletics, academics, and the fine arts. The district is proud of a newly constructed, state-of the-art Fine Arts Center along with well-maintained, safe, and energy-efficient buildings. Students and families are served by a caring and dedicated staff that focuses on the needs of the whole child as we live our mission of "preparing students to perform for life".

Mid-State Technical College - Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) is a publicly supported regional two-year college within the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) that strives for excellence while maintaining an agile organization that can quickly respond to the ever-changing needs of our residents and local business and industry. With campuses in Marshfield, Stevens Point, and Wisconsin Rapids, and a learning center in Adams, the college serves a resident population of approximately 165,000. Mid-State’s Center, in the City of Adams, employs about 20 part time instructors and offers associate degrees, technical diplomas, certificates, and non-credit classes.

University of Wisconsin System - The UW System has several campuses that are near Adams County including Madison, La Crosse, Oshkosh, Stevens Point, and Baraboo/Sauk County.
